Suppes Brain Lab research program is focused in three main areas.  The first is the continued study of language in the brain. The purely linguistic part of this investigation is focused on recognition of English phonemes in the brain.  The second area has required the acquisition of new and as yet not widely tested, EEG equipment to record simultaneously two participants.   The research focus of this work is the psychological and neural interactions of couples in psychotherapy, in music experiments, and in neural economic games.  The third area of research is continual theoretical research on the applications of weakly coupled phase oscillators, as models of brain computations to our current experiments.
